This is me VENTING!

I have a job sitting here on my desk..i was told i had two days to complete it..i said..Impossible unless i work 24/7 and i cant do that right now..to make a long story short..I worked my ass off to get it for this client(fyi- they arent a regular client we stopped working for them 5 years ago because they didnt pay on time)i got the job done and i told my boss..i dont feel good about this i wasnt able to check it for mistakes as i didnt have enough time in the first place..he said..send it we will worry about errors later..today my boss..Not ME..gets this email..(not to mention 5 other people i dont even know)

***** has explained to me that there are numerous hanger errors on the drawing. We have been working on revisions to this drawing for over a week. As you know, we will now have men on the job Monday AM to hang pipe. It is very important that we have CORRECTLY revised drawings by tomorrow so that we can have hangers to the job by TUESDAY. Monday will be used as a fabrication day for hangers. So that ***** does not waste any more time, he will pull off job until he gets revised drawings tomorrow. Also, please be sure to check the ENTIRE drawing, and not just those areas Chris has pointed out. It is becoming extremely obvious that whoever you had drawing this job was not too conscientious. </font>

Needless to say i was fuming..I worked till all hours to get this..of course its not perfect! Further more..after seeing the errors.....I didnt make them.. [img]smile.gif[/img] ..yet im not concientious..uh huh..in 5 years i have never had one complaint about my work...ppfftt..i said..ok..i will fix their problem..but after that i refuse to do their work..we arent starving and i dont need their hassles..ive never refused work from anyone till today..but i also have 20 other companies that would never have thought to accuse me of doing shoddy work!

Moral of my story: Dont critize me to others..do it to my face so i can say..yes i messed up and i will fix it..or so i can say..excuse me but thats YOUR error not mine so kiss my ass.. [img]smile.gif[/img]

hmmm..i sound as if im bragging..i guess when you work as hard as i do ..and get talked to like that..its a bit hard to swallow.. [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
